LIVING SOIL
Location : London
Competition - 2021
Living soil is a temporary urban installation creating a dialogue between nature and architecture. Considering two possible states and functions of the ground, one chooses to display a building matter while the other proposes a breeding ground. The structure proposes a passage made from a circular construction creating micro landscapes. Across the street, the structure offers living matters where plants are growing out of the most essential and sustainable material : earth. From the path, the floor appears as a composition of solid rammed earth, organic soil and floating wood. A journey from outside to inside, from experimentation to contemplation.
