The Research Parliament brought together 22 international architects and architectural researchers for a 48-hour, scenographed closed-door session at the Sainte-Marie de La Tourette convent — a retreat shrouded in mist, removed from time and urgency. Initiated by the Quartus Endowment Fund for Architecture, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and led by the curatorial duo L’AUC and MBL Architects, the Research Parliament provided an unprecedented moment of reflection, exploration, and collective effervescence to examine the major issues facing our society and to question what architecture can do.
