Built from the scenography remnants of last year’s exhibition for Dutch Design Week, this Screening Cabinet is a modular wooden structure composed of two shelves that allow for various spatial configurations and the display of unique pieces. The reused wooden elements have been carefully stored, sanded, cut, and reassembled — designed to be easily transported and reinstalled.

The scenography, designed and built by Studio ACTE — an architecture practice dedicated to resilient materials and future-proof design — is part of the studio’s ongoing research into sustainable, decarbonised scenography in response to material scarcity.
